Dijon is a middle sized city with affordable infrastructures. Once accepted in our programme at the beginning of summer, your application will automatically be reviewed by the master&rsquo;s teaching team and an answer is given throughout summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-accordion class=\"faq-main\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-control class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>How much does the programme cost ?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-content\"><p>For the academic year 2022-2023, the tuition fees were :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>243\u20ac for the university<\/li>\n<li>92\u20ac for the CVEC (Contribution Vie Etudiante et de Campus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Or a total of 335\u20ac &#8211; possibility to be exempted for French students who receive an allowance (\u00ab\u00a0\u00e9tudiants boursiers\u00a0\u00bb).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-accordion class=\"faq-main\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-control class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>What career prospects does the BEWM master offer?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-content\"><p>Graduate students from the BEWM master pursue a career in a variety of different sectors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>teaching (20%)<\/li>\n<li>academic research (PhD candidates, technicians&#8230;) (33%)<\/li>\n<li>operating officers in GOs and NGOs (20%)<\/li>\n<li>others (26%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-accordion class=\"faq-main\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-control class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>What level of English is required to attend the BEWM master?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-content\"><p>Please note that 90% of courses are taught in English in the first year, 100% in the second year.<\/p>\n<div>If you are from an English speaking country, you won&rsquo;t need a language diploma to prove your English level.<\/div>\n<div>If you are from a non-English speaking country but got your BSc in an English speaking country (or your BSc was taught in English), you won&rsquo;t need a diploma either.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If you are not in one of these situations, we would prefer a diploma to assess your English. Nevertheless, we don&rsquo;t require a paying language certificate such as TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS. We want to make sure you will be comfortable in the language to follow our classes and be successful. A B2 level in English is highly recommended to attend the BEWM master. In any case, if we are interested in your application, we will plan a Skype interview and we will therefore be able to see your English level.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-accordion class=\"faq-main\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-control class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>What academic background is required to attend the BEWM master?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-content\"><p style=\"text-align: justify\">The required background for admission in the first year corresponds to a bachelor level in ecology, evolutionary biology or population biology as a general manner.<\/p>\n<p>Direct entrance at the second year of the master level is possible for applicants with five years of previous studies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In more details, applicants need to master the fundamental concepts from <strong>evolutionary biology<\/strong>, basic <strong>ecology<\/strong> concepts, have some notions of <strong>quantitative and population genetics<\/strong>, basic notions of <strong>animal behaviour<\/strong> (behavioural ecology), and a fair level of <strong>biostatistics<\/strong> (descriptive and analytical statistics).<\/p>\n<p>Please note the specificity of a master&rsquo;s programme in France : about <strong>25 hours of teaching (lectures, tutorials and practicals) per week<\/strong> + 20 hours of personal work<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-accordion class=\"faq-main\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-control class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>What level of French is required to attend the BEWM master?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-content\"><p>We would generally advise applicants to have a A2\/B1 level to be comfortable following the course taught in French. Please note though that only one class is taught in French in the first year, and every course is in English in the second year. No diploma assessing your level in French is necessary.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-accordion class=\"faq-main\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-control class=\"faq-title\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>I have graduated in a foreign country. Can I apply for the master BEWM?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div data-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"faq-content\"><p style=\"text-align: justify\">Yes, there is no restriction regarding the nationality of students or the country where they did their undergraduate studies.
